Tan Ce Ding

An alumnus of the renowned Asian Film Academy (AFA), Tan Ce Ding made his TVC directorial debut at the young age of 23 and has never looked back. His directing talent has made him incredibly sought after by iconic brands such as Honda, Samsung, LG, TM, Astro, Axiata, Perodua, and many more.

Tan first rose to prominence in 2016 when he wrote and directed the short film "Hawa," which won the Grand Prize, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Sound Design at the BMW Shorties, the most prestigious short film competition in Malaysia.

His subsequent short film, "The Masseuse," had its online premiere on DUST, the world's largest Sci-Fi YouTube channel. The rights to "The Masseuse" were then acquired by the Hollywood powerhouse Miramax Studio to be developed into a feature film.

In 2022, he wrote and directed his latest short film, "Please Hold the Line." This short film made its world premiere at the 79th Venice Film Festival and was subsequently selected for other major festivals worldwide, including Golden Horse, Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs, Stockholm, Santa Barbara, Vienna Shorts, Tehran, Rhode Island, HollyShorts, and Odense, among others.
